An ethereal Fall

Believe it or not but little Alisa is a student now!
One month ago I signed up for my TOEFL preparation workshop at Westchester Community College.
It turned out to be awesome. The college is really nice with a big green campus and my teacher Eric is great same as my class, though.
Moreover I have one girl in my class who takes the TOEFL exam because she wants to study in GERMANY!
Incredible I know but german engeneering seems to be really canonical!
However, I felt so exhilarated that I thought one course is not enough.
Thus, I signed up for another course - the SAT preparation course.
For all the people who never watched "The Perfect Score" or some series like "Gossip Girl", "O.C. California", to name a few :
The SAT exam is a test for highschool alumni who want to apply for University.
THAT turned out to be really exhausting!!
But my determination makes me feel motivated. Hence, I study everyday when the kids are in school but i'm managing it.
The funny thing is that I learn vocabulary which most of the americans do not know either.
There are only four weeks left till I have my first exam ( 11/06/10 ) and afterwards I have much more free time again.
Furthermore I should not forget that I will be on vacation soon.
Trip to Florida ( probably Orlando - Disneyworld ) and then we will go on a cruise to the caribbean.

That sounds much better right ;-)

The kids are really obedient and amiable which makes me feel effervescent and exuberant.
I had so much luck with everything here it's amazing.
And my hostfather's are so attentive.

The weather was really munificent the last month so we started to be very gregarious during the weekends.
Inasmuch as I had an au pair meeting, so we went to Bear Mountain Park and what the name already says - yes there are real bears but unfortunately I did not see one.
Maybe they are scared of me. Who knows ? ;-)
Additionally, we were apple picking last sunday and we bought a giant pumpkin.
I mean Halloween is almost here!

Next tuesday my brother and his girlfriend will come and stay with us for ten days. I am so happy to see some family members.
Although, I have to work and study I am sure this is going to be fun.
