''Happy'' Halloween ?

Last weekend I started questioning about ' What is Halloween? ' ...

The word Halloween is first attested in the 16th century, if you look it up in the dictionary it says something about its first literatures like Frankenstein and Dracula which supported our holiday with an image of horror where ghosts, monsters and evil magic are welcome.

So maybe that's why americans today celebrate Halloween with costumes like the evil angle, the mad clown and the bad little red riding hood. Halloween in america means especially for women dressing like a slut and the shorter the costume the better. Sorry for being too vulgar, but that's what it is.

So once again... We celebrate a 'scary' holiday to praise old horror creatures by wearing silly and colorful costumes and by going to happy parades in the city to have FUN.

That makes totally sense - Welcome to America.

Fortunately we were opend minded enough to assimilate ourselves.
Here are the results! Enjoy! ;-)

And just to remember this was my Halloween last year... what a difference ;-)

One sandwich with peanut butter and jelly please!

Hi my friends.
Welcome back to the state where one can WIN citizenship.
November's here, just so you know because many of you are as busy as me.
Now I'm here for more than 3 wonderful month. wow.

I was kind of lazy reporting you some news during the last month while studying, working and having my first visit.
My lovely brother and his girlfriend came to NY. Although one of them was not as impressed as me we still had a great time together. We visited some nice places like Greenwich Village, which was the most impressive part of Manhattan, Battery Park and we walked along the New Jersey Skyline.
Moreover we walked from Grand Central Station down to Brooklyn Bridge but before we could see the bridge it was time for me to go back to work.
My brother and his girlfriend crossed the bridge to Brooklyn, where they went to Tech University. My brother had a talk there about his knowledge of a project named CASED ... DON'T ask me what it is about haha.
The Prof seemed to be very interested maybe that's why he fell asleep, but still : what a great chance. I was really proud.

One day we went to Bear Mountain Park to walk all the way up to the top. Well, we lost the tourist path but unfortunately we still couldn't see any bears.
Good for you because otherwise I wouldn't be able to modernize my blog.

All in all it was really nice to have some family members around me and who know's when I can see them again?

Hope everyone's fine.
