What a long day...
I must said that I'm totally happy to be here on this campus, it's really nice and not compareable with a hotel, if we should stay there it would be not the same and it would not fit to our year abroad.
Moreover it's not that bad...
And of course it's only for three and a half days so - no problem.
Today we had lots of lessons here and in my class there are lots of girls who will stay in New York either, that's great to know.
In the afternoon we did some handicrafts and we sang together german children songs.
I will never be a singer that's sure.
What was special today was that only a few people of us got some presents from their hostfamilies, they can buy it by cultural care for the au pairs and I got the biggest present with lots of gift certificates for Starbucks, rockfeller center and for a restaurant ( forgot the name ) and for the NYC Trip and I got a nice sweater from Cultural Care in gray ( lucky me that it's not pink ).
But I must say that it was a bit sad because there were so many au pairs who didn't get a present. Well maybe they will get one when they arrive at their hostfamilies.
Today I found out that here are lots of male au pairs. That's interesting...
Unfortunately I'm at the computer for the third time today, but all the nearly 300 au pairs have their laptops or go to the computer lounge (that's where I'm).
So it's more like peer pressure.
There are only three days left until I come to my hostfamily.
Of course I'm really excited and happy to see my room and to put all my stuff out of this bag!
So next time I'm gonna tell you more about NYC!

jetlag what's that? ne also hatte ich gar nicht... ka der flug war auch super hab alice in wonderland geguckt :)
und den koffer hab ich natuerlich in meinem zimmer aber jetzt kommts:
im h&m dusseldorf airport haben die vergessen den magnet von dem tshirt ab zu machen MAL WIEDER arghhh!!!!
