my first week...

HI guys,

IT REALLY WORKS - well not wireless but now I have internet in my room and that's a big step. So what happened the last days...

On thursday we went to NYC for the fist time, and all of us were very excited... So we took hundreds of pictures out of the bus obviously we could go to NYC every weekend. I already told you that I got a gift certificate to go to the top of the rock - it was amazing. The rockefeller center has 67 stories so when you are at the top you can see almost everything of NYC, it looks like a picture or like you know it on tv or something it doesn't look real. But it is and was there.
My friend Lucia from argentina and I got lost afterwards but we could manage.
We went the whole 5th ave to our bus stop and saw lots of nice shops and buildings.
I was also on the fashion ave where marc jacobs however "works" and I saw Sarah Jessica Parker's apartment.
For some people it could be interesting...

Well then on friday I came into my family, and oh my god the house is wonderful it's so big and my room is very cute and everything seems to be great.
I will show you some pictures.

Then the two girls and the boy are really lovely, of course it's hard work because they are like triplets, but I'm sure will manage that. My hostfathers are very friendly. I think it fits ve ry good. I can't believe how things work, I'm totally satisfied with really everything.

On friday evening we went out for dinner, what a good start ;-)
On saturday I had free so I went to NYC again with Corinna the current au pair in my family. She's really nice to me. So we walked from Grand Central Station to Chinatown which took I think more than two hours.
NYC is unbelievable, so away with all those stupid prejudices. It's not only big buildings, taxis and lots of people and it's not only fashion it's more than that and better - it's also lot of nature.
Here are so many nice parks besides the central park for example the Bryant Park. There are lots of birds and squirrels all around. Moreover you have lots of nice trees next to the streets it's great.
And there was a nice market where you can buy FRESH fruits and FRESH vegetables and DARK bread!!! Unfortunately my brother gave me "pumpernickel" and I thought that's so cool because the americans don't know it - how innocent I was...
My family has pumpernickel at home...
However till now I was at the Time Square, Chinatown, Broadway, 5th Ave, Bryant Park some other parks and I was in the Toys'R'Us which has his own big wheel IN the shop.
I'm sure that I forgot anything but I will tell you later.

Well, on sunday we went to the cinema to watch ramona and bises with the girls and first I didn't realize that it was not my language I had really no understanding problems - of course it was a movie for children - but I was totally proud. haha.
I already dreamt in english.. it was not the first time so it's not very special.

I already drove the car, it's a big truck but I love it. I always have to sit on my left leg while driving because otherwise I would try to use it. For all the people who don't know - if you drive automatically you should only use your right leg.

Yesterday was my first work day and it was really good. Today we went shopping in our freetime and we were at marshall's where you can get all the brands for almost nothing. I bought a dress for the wedding and shoes and and and ( I think my mum could read this so I better stop here ;)) ).

Yes this weekend we will go to a wedding to new hampshire from friday to sunday and we will have barbecue on friday evening then the wedding on saturday and a brunch on sunday. So my brain gains weight... hope so.

Then on Tuesday Corinna will leave us and we will go for one week to the beach house in maine. I'm really happy about that because at the moment are summer holidays and the kids only go to camp till 2pm, so if school starts in september it will be much easier for me. But it's really not that hard.
